I'm living in Rotterdam and I'm busy managing and programming internet projects as a freelancer.
Before I started as a freelancer, I worked as a BDD TDD programmer using Cucumber and Rspec to make Enterprise Social Networking solutions in Ruby on Rails and as a PHP programmer for a company that makes websites for theaters. I believe in Agile and Lean software development and work with Open source software.
I am very much interested in the process of building maintainable software, and (have to admit) am a bit of an open source geek.
Like other great programmers I studied fine arts. It makes sense as I totally agree with Donald Knuth and Paul Graham that Computer Programming is an art.
You can find my fieldrecordings and the sold out CD's released on Dale Lloyd's And/OAR label here too. Besides fieldrecording, I'm rather busy reading, sporting, pampering my computers running Gentoo and Ubuntu Debian and listening to weird? music.
And my mom runs Ubuntu too.
