As the days got shorter, I gradually found myself running through the dark forest.
With my headlight, piercing through the silence of the night, I had wonderful encounters with a variety of animals. After a period of frequent running, I could see all the pathways in my head. And I was used to the darkness in the forest. I dimmed my headlight to the point that only a small space in front of my body caught the light. I was running on pathways more than familiar, but into the belly of the darkness. After some time, at some point, my mind seemed so at ease that for one moment, only my body was left running into nothing. I wanted to catch those moments and recorded my runs.
“Only Those Moments Count” is a short film I made with an excerpt from one of these runs. For the soundtrack, I have used this piece which I made on my analogue synthesizers.
Limited to 9 pieces and with handmade cover.
