A new album inspired by a story I was deeply moved by. The journey of a teenager through the Kurdish part of the Zagros Mountains, in the dark and in the cold. A tale of friendship and keeping promises.
The title of this album is a line from the lyrics of the song “Asker Ağam” by Zaralı Halil Söyler. For some reason, the warm and melancholic voice of this great Turkish singer has for me always been connected to the story of the Zagros Mountains.
The result is four pieces on analogue synthesizers.
Limited to 11 pieces.
